This page explains how to request deletion of your Mezano account and what happens to your data. You do not need to be signed in to make a request.

If you are a worker

Your Mezano account was created by your employer, and your timesheets are their employment records.

You can delete your account yourself, immediately, inside the Mezano app: open Tools → Delete account and confirm. Your login and personal information are removed on the spot. If you no longer have the app, email us from the address associated with your account and include your name and the company you work for.

  • Clock-in and clock-out verification photographs

What we retain, and why

Timesheet records — hours worked, dates, projects, and clock-in and clock-out times — are your employer's business records. Federal and state wage and hour law requires employers to keep them, generally for at least three years. We cannot delete them at an individual's request, because doing so would destroy your employer's legal records and your own evidence of the hours you worked. If you want those removed, contact your employer, who controls them.

If you are a company account holder

Email us from an administrator address with the subject "Company account deletion".

Request company deletion
This cannot be undone. We will delete the company account and all associated data, including projects, invoices, documents, employee records and timesheets. Export anything you need first — you may request a data export within 30 days of termination, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Some records may be retained where required by law, for example transaction records needed for tax purposes.

Requesting deletion inside the app

  • Mezano field app: Tools → Delete account — immediate
  • Web platform: Profile → Account → Request deletion

How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate. Requests made by email are actioned within 30 days and confirmed by email once complete.
